Introduction

Housing Buddy India reserves the right to make any changes to any part of these terms and conditions without giving any prior notice.
By ordering Housing Buddy India service by telephone, e-mail, fax or its website the Client agrees to be bound by Housing Buddy India terms and condition.

• 1. Please pay 30% of total Housing buddy charge (Live in/Live Out. Minimum delivery time is 30 working days and the amount is Non Refundable) Once candidate is finalized after all documentation you need to pay 50% of annual charge before the candidate joins. Balance 50% need to pay after 3 days of check in period. There are two replacements in annual plan and no replacement in quarterly plan. (Replacement time is 21 to 30 working days). • 2. Registration amount of Rs. 6000 (Non Refundable: valid for life time) for Live in (Minimum time is 30 working days), Rs. 3000 for Full time (Minimum time is 30 working days) and Rs. 1500 (minimum time is 30 working days) for Live out upfront. • 3. Housing buddy yearly services charge for Live in (24/7) is 21K INR • 4. However, we basically charge on the basis of deployment hours such as 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 hours of domestic help and are fixed (refer above). • 5. Deploy someone 24/7 is not a service but it's more of a responsibility from both sides (Client and candidate as well). We do lots of investment, we do lots of tie-ups, we do lots of development, we do lots of training, we run daily campaigns, and we are 20 in house staff and 130 associates all over India. Basically it’s not a service charge but a kind of investment that we do to avail you the service whether you take it for 1 month or 1 year or more, the investment will be the same. • 6. The standard payout for maid is between 250 to 400 Rs per day. The standard payout for cook is between 300 to 500 Rs. per day. The standard payout for nurse/Attainder /Elder Care/Child care is between 400 to 800 Rs per day. The standard payout for drivers is between 400 to 600 Rs per day. • 7. We take a minimum of 30 working days to 45 working days to deploy manpower according to the requirement to the client’s place. However it can be done in 2 days but necessary time for screening and verification is must and also the time may extend in case the location or area is blacklisted or improper or not suitable or travelling issue for maid to work. • 8. We will not be able to refund the registration amount paid by the client in case we are deploying the domestic help, but you are not hiring them. • 9. 70% (Balance Amount) will be paid by the client on the very first day of the date of joining of domestic help. • 10. No refund request will be considered at any/all conditions when domestic help deployed at client’s place worked more than 5 days but replaced throughout the year. • 11. Clients can interview, observe attitude, explain work culture and work, negotiate salary and verify by submitting photo ID to the nearest police station of domestic help before deploying to their house to avoid any issue. • 12. We do all kinds of verification of domestic help including, police, residential and background. We request clients to submit relevant documents of the domestic maid to the nearest police station to avoid future allegations. • 13. We also request clients to send us their police verification or character certificate to avoid future allegations by domestic maid or by their families. • 14. Clients get the first 5 days of time to check whether the domestic help is according to the requirement or not. If not satisfied with the work, the client will get a replacement for free within 21 days of minimum time for this client to send back the maid by offering her a traveling ticket as well as the 5 days salary ASAP. • 15. If not checked within 7 days of time or in case found inappropriate later, then a minimum of 60 days time will be taken for replacement also one month salary to be paid to domestic help as well. Or client and domestic help can settle the situation mutually. • 16. We are committed to provide manpower services and don’t guarantee the behaviour (Positive or negative) of the domestic help, clients can obtain a character certificate from the nearest police station or home police station by submitting the relevant documents to ensure future allegations. • 17. We never get into any bond or contract with domestic help. However it is an independent decision of client to get the work done from client and domestic help to work for client on monthly, yearly or any scheduled time basis. • 18. No replacement will be provided when direct salary is paid to the domestic help, salary is paid untimely, over burden of work is given to the domestic help and if there is any behavioural issues. • 19. Replacement Salary Hike: There may be increment or hike in domestic help salary from the first salary offered and it cannot be the same as offered previously. • 20. Replacement Policy: Service is limited to one year time. We can provide a maximum of 2 replacements during the first six month. (Minimum time for replacement in any /all condition is 30 working days from date requested via email only and we can send maximum of 3 candidates for interview throughout the period only) • 21. However if there is no replacement taken within 6 months time or have requested for replacement then it would be totally housing buddy’s decision to provide replacement or not during the next six months of time. • 22. No replacement in a year- In case of salary negotiation, misbehavior, excess burden, untimely salary, multi person handling etc.. • So with the number of COVID cases continuing to rise across the country and the level of contagion spreading rising beyond sporadic outbreaks, is it the right time to call back the domestic help and utility service persons if need be? Precautious enough, you should avoid. However, if you can’t avoid, then the precautions to be taken must be optimal and devoid of any sort of humanistic carelessness. • 23. Keep spare masks for your help/utility serviceperson • 24. If the individual entering your home for the above purposes isn’t wearing the mask, then in best-case-scenario you should prefer to not take their services. But just in case, a mask should be the welcome fabric in these COVID-infested times and sanitizer/hand wash should be an immunity solution to be used firsthand while ensuring a safe social distance of five feet of course. • 25. Social distancing • 26. You and everyone else in the family must keep a safe social distance from anyone entering your home but is not your immediate family member. For the time being, the fact needs to be reemphasized that ‘social distancing is the social vaccine’ of the novel corona virus. • 27. Sanities the things used/touched by them • 28. Be it utensils or the portions of your curtain; sanitize everything which has come in contact with your domestic help or utility serviceperson. If this seems too much, then recall that this is the biggest health crisis you are confronting in your entire life so far, and these extreme situations demand extreme precautions. • 29. Maintain precautious hygienic eating standards • 30. Possibly, you have already increased your clean-the-veggies/fruits standards by now in the wake of coronavirus cases being recorded in the vegetable markets across the country. Henceforth, if you happen to receive some edible item from your domestic help or utility serviceperson – be extra cautious. • 31. Act as a family to your domestic help • 32. The country is going through such a critical period when the people lying at the underprivileged strata are most vulnerable. Act as a morale booster to your domestic help; to stimulate a positive mental positioning needed the most to overcome these tumultuous times. • 33. We never get into any bond or contract with Commercial housekeeping / household staff / Housing utility manpower’s, However it is an independent decision of client to get the work done for them and domestic help to work for client on hourly, daily, monthly, yearly or any scheduled time basis. • 34. We are committed to provide facility management / household services and don’t guarantee the behavior (Positive or negative) of the domestic help/maintenance/repair staff, clients can obtain a character certificate from the nearest police station or home police station by submitting the relevant documents to ensure future allegation

REGULAR DOMESTIC AND COMMERCIAL DOMESTIC HELP SERVICES

1. Minimum of 4 hours per domestic help services visit applies. 2. Housing Buddy provides regular domestic help services at a rate of INR 100/hour for domestic help services organized on daily / weekly or fortnightly basis. 3. Housing Buddy reserves the right to suspend domestic help services if monthly payments are missing. 4. If any estimates of how long it will take our operatives to do the job required are being provided that is only an estimate based on the average time it takes to clean a home or office of similar size to the Client's, it being difficult to estimate precisely how long such tasks may take and that a degree of flexibility may be required. 5. Client agrees to provide a list of tasks and all domestic help services materials and equipment needed for the required work, unless other arrangements have been made with Housing Buddy India. If the Client does not have domestic help services materials and asks Housing Buddy Domestic help services to purchase requested items on their behalf, she/he understands that an applicable charge will be assessed. 6. All domestic help services equipment should be safe and in full working order. 7. Client understands that the price he/she has been quoted does not include anything apart from domestic help services and ironing labor. 8. Housing Buddy Domestic help services will not be responsible for triggering any alarm systems. Customer should give any special instructions for deactivation/activation of any household alarm systems. 9. Housing Buddy reserves the right not to continue with the job if on inspection, it is found that the material to be cleaned or treated is not suitable for domestic help services or treatment. Housing Buddy also will not continue with the job if for example water or power is not available or if there is interference in the work from the Client or any other person.

 

END OF TENANCY DOMESTIC HELP SERVICES/SPRING AND ONE OFF DOMESTIC HELP SERVICES/ AFTER BUILDERS DOMESTIC HELP SERVICES

1. Minimum of 4 hours per domestic help services visit applies. 2. Housing Buddy provides end of tenancy, one-off and spring domestic help services at a rate of INR 199/hour per person for domestic help services. 3. If any estimates of how long it will take our operatives to do the job required are being provided that is only an estimate based on the average time it takes to clean a property of similar size to the Client's, it being difficult to estimate precisely how long such tasks may take and that a degree of flexibility may be required. 4. Client agrees to provide a task list and all domestic help services detergents and equipment (vacuum domestic help, mop, bucket and portable ladder) required to carry out the service, unless other arrangements have been made. 5. If the Client does not have domestic help services materials, Housing Buddy will supply them for additional INR 50 per hour. This has to be requested at the time of the booking. 6. If the Client does not have domestic help services materials and equipment, Housing Buddy will supply them for additional INR 500 one off delivery charge. This has to be requested at the time of the booking and dose not includes the domestic help services labor. 7. All domestic help services equipment provided by the Client should be safe and in full working order. 8. The client understands that the price he/she has been quoted is not for a "package deal" and does not include anything apart from domestic help services labor. 9. The End of Tenancy Domestic help services, One Off/Spring Domestic help services and an After Builders Domestic help services do not include domestic help services of: walls, ceilings, curtains, exterior windows, balcony, patio, gardens, washing up, laundry and professional carpet and upholstery domestic help services. 10. Housing Buddy Domestic help services will not be responsible for triggering any alarm systems. Customer should give any special instructions for deactivation/activation of any household alarm systems. 11. Client is advised that an end of tenancy domestic help services may take double the length of the time required for a general domestic help services. After Builders Domestic help services, After Party Domestic help services or badly neglected homes may take up to three times longer than a well maintained home requiring the same service. 12. Housing Buddy reserves the right not to continue with the job if on inspection, it is found that the material to be cleaned or treated is not suitable for domestic help services or treatment. Housing Buddy also will not continue with the job if for example water or power is not available or if there is interference in the work from the Client or any other person.

 

DOMESTIC HELP SERVICES

1. All domestic help services orders are subject to INR 199 minimum call out charge. 2. Housing Buddy reserves the right to amend the initial quotation should the Client's original requirements change. 3. Differences in excess of 10% will be discussed with the Client prior to the start of the work. 4. If Housing Buddy personnel need to collect keys from a third party's address outside the postal code of the premises where work is to be carried out then a INR 300 charge will be added to the price of the service. 5. If the Client has a dog, cat or other hairy animal hair slowing down the domestic help services process additional 30% extra charge will be added to the service price. 6. If water extraction is required due to flooding 30% extra charge will be added to the service price. 7. Any charges like travelling and parking will be added to the Client's invoice unless different agreement was made. 8. If the Client premises are above the third floor of a building with no lift additional charge of INR 250 will apply. 9. Housing Buddy reserves the right not to continue with the job if on inspection, it is found that the material to be cleaned or treated is not suitable for domestic help services or treatment. Housing Buddy also will not continue with the job if for example water or power is not available or if there is interference in the work from the Client or any other person.
